Clopay announced the official application of C-Power switchable glass technology to the Avante and Avante-Sleek residential garage door series, as well as commercial models 904 and 906, introducing the innovative Click-to-Conceal one-touch hidden panel. This allows wireless remote control to freely switch the glass between transparent and opaque states, ushering in a new era of intelligent tinting for high-end portals.

C-Power technology directly powers the door body without the need for complex external wiring, enabling rapid response and switching of the glass panel. Designed specifically for high-end residential and commercial settings, it allows for seamless integration of natural light and outdoor views while offering one-touch privacy shielding and security protection, meeting all-day usage requirements.

It is widely used in the commercial sector: car showrooms and retail stores can maintain transparency for display during business hours while providing security and theft prevention when closed; restaurants, hotels, schools, and other venues can balance lighting, glare, and safety, combining aesthetic design with practical functionality.

The glass introduces ample natural light in its transparent state to reduce lighting energy consumption; when switched to opaque mode, it blocks UV rays and minimizes heat ingress, protecting indoor items from fading. The product features a 2-1/8 inch weather-resistant aluminum frame with an integrated power supply system. The Avante and 904 models utilize a rectangular grid design, while the Avante-Sleek and 906 models adopt a narrow-edge horizontal panel for a more expansive view. The frame offers multiple color options and anodization choices, along with WindCode wind-resistant reinforcement. The glass is available in tempered or thermal options, including transparent/white opaque, gray transparent/gray opaque, and other finishes.
