1、 Material characteristics

Basic components: Based on sodium calcium silicate glass, adding metal oxides such as iron oxide and cobalt oxide to form a distinctive gray tone, while enhancing UV absorption capacity.

Surface performance:

Embossed texture depth of 0.3-1.2mm, light transmittance of 60-75%, combining transparency and privacy protection;

The gray coating layer reflects some infrared rays, with a shading coefficient SC ≤ 0.5, and has a significant energy-saving effect.

Mechanical strength: The impact strength reaches 90-120MPa, and after tempering treatment, the bending strength is increased to over 200MPa. The fire resistance has passed the A-level flame retardant certification.

2、 Production process principle

Melt Forming:

Raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone) form homogeneous glass liquid in a 1700 ℃ melting furnace;

Adding metal oxides to achieve gray coloring requires a melting time of ≥ 8 hours to ensure uniform composition.

Embossing process:

The glass liquid is transported to the rolling machine through the flow channel, and the double roll rolling method (carving patterns on the lower roll and polishing on the upper roll) is used to imprint three-dimensional textures at high temperatures of 1100-1300 ℃;

The pattern accuracy is controlled by the pressure roller carving process, with an error of ≤ 0.1mm.

Annealing and strengthening:

After rolling, the glass enters the annealing kiln and is cooled at a gradient rate of 2-3 ℃/min to eliminate internal stress;

The tempering process adopts chemical ion exchange method, and the surface stress layer reaches 850MPa, forming safety glass.

3、 Technical parameters

Forming speed: The continuous rolling line speed can reach 10m/min;

Specification range: Thickness 3-12mm, maximum board width 3300mm;

Energy consumption index: The energy consumption per ton of glass is ≤ 7.5GJ, which meets the green production standards.
